Abide in the Vine

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. – John 15:5 NKJV

Reflection 
Our position in Christ is one of trust, safety, and peace. Abiding in the vine means communion with Jesus, our life source. As branches, we cannot create fruit; we bear it as we abide in the vine. When we try to do things without Him, unrest comes. Yielding to Him through prayer and worship strengthens us and helps us rest in Him.  

Application 
➤ Remain connected to Christ through prayer and worship.
➤ Rely on His life as your constant source of strength and peace.  
➤ Rest in His presence and allow His Spirit to bear fruit through you.

Connection 
Thank You, Lord, for being the vine and giving me life as Your branch. Help me remain steadfast in every season. May my life bear much fruit that glorifies Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
