Watch Out for That One Thing

And the woman said to the serpent, 'We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' - Genesis 3:2-3 NKJV

Reflection
Satan tempted Eve to focus on the one thing she lacked instead of all God had provided. We face the same test when our attention shifts to what is missing in our lives. Discontent magnifies lack, but gratitude magnifies grace. God teaches us to rest in His abundance, praising Him for His goodness and provision.

Application
Count three blessings you already have today
Turn moments of envy into thanksgiving
Focus prayers on God’s sufficiency, not your lack

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for Your abundant provision. Help me see Your blessings instead of my lack. Teach me to walk in gratitude and contentment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
