Reach for His Saving Hand

But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, ‘Lord, save me!’ And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?’ - Matthew 14:30-31 NKJV

Reflection
Peter walked on water until he focused on the strong wind instead of Jesus. The opposition we dwell on can hinder our step of faith. God’s peace confirms His leading, and anything that disrupts it is a signal to refocus. As we keep our eyes on Jesus, call upon Him, He rescues us from sinking and increases our faith.

Application
Refocus on the Lord when opposition causes doubt
Reach for the ability and power of the Holy Spirit
Rest in God’s timing, trusting His rescue when needed

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for stretching out Your hand when I doubt. Guide me with Your peace and help me walk in faith without hesitation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
