Do Not Act Hastily

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: ‘Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily.’ - Isaiah 28:16 NKJV

Reflection
Hasty decisions often lead us into regret. When pressured to decide quickly, we risk stepping outside of God’s perfect will. Faith is patient and seeks God’s wisdom before acting. Those who trust in Christ, the sure foundation, move thoughtfully and not in haste. Haste makes waste when it’s not led by the Holy Spirit.

➤ Pause and seek God before responding under pressure
➤ Pray for His wisdom in every choice you make
➤ Pursue His timing over the urgency of others

Thank You, Lord, for being my sure foundation. Help me walk in faith, making decisions led by Your wisdom and not by haste. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
