The Power of Gratitude

“…in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18–21 NKJV

Reflection
Complaining clouds our minds and hinders our progress in the Lord. Gratitude opens the door to joy and contentment. When we choose thankfulness, we silence negativity and strengthen our faith. Even in hardship, giving thanks shifts our focus from our problems to the goodness of God.

Application
➤ Replace complaints with words of gratitude and faith.
Encourage others to see God’s goodness in their lives.
Hold fast to what is good and pleasing to the Lord.

Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for teaching me the power of gratitude. Help me guard my heart from complaining and keep my focus on Your goodness. Let my words and thoughts glorify You in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
