The Sound of Abundance

“Then Elijah said to Ahab, ‘Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.’” – 1 Kings 18:41 NKJV

Reflection
Elijah didn’t just hear rain—he heard abundance. Faith listens differently. God’s Word fuels our expectations, but delays and disappointments can dull our fervency. We sometimes lower our belief to partial answers instead of full promises. Yet God’s best still waits for us. By faith, we hold fast, expecting more than we can ask or think.

• Believe God’s promises even when the wait feels long.
• Guard against doubt and discouragement.
• Expect more than enough from the One who is faithful.

Thank You, Lord, for increasing my faith to hear the sound of abundance. Strengthen me to hold fast to Your promises and expect more than I can imagine. Keep me praying fervently, trusting You for the harvest. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
