Stretching Toward the Prize
“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 3:13–14 NKJV
Reflection
Stretching in the natural increases flexibility, and spiritually, it strengthens our walk. God stretches us when He asks us to step beyond our comfort zones, forgive offenses, or surrender desires. Though stretching can feel uncomfortable, it leads us into deeper trust and reliance on Him. Each step in obedience shapes us more into the image of Christ, pressing us toward His upward call.

Thank You, Lord, for stretching me beyond my limits. Help me press toward the prize of Your calling and to grow in faith as I obey You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
