Making Room for Jesus

“And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” – Luke 2:7 NKJV

Reflection
No one made room for Joseph and Mary, yet Jesus was born as foretold. Still today, He seeks a place in our hearts. We may feel unworthy or unprepared, but He desires us as we are. When we surrender, He transforms us from the inside out. He doesn’t seek a temporary stay but a permanent dwelling. As we celebrate His birth, may He not just visit but inhabit every part of our lives.

Application
  • Surrender your heart completely to Him.
  • Welcome Him daily as Lord, not just a guest.
  • Allow His presence to transform every area of life.

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for coming to dwell with me. Take every part of my life and fill it with Your presence. May I always make room for You above all else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
