What Are We Mindful of?
“But He turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.’” – Matthew 16:23 NKJV
Reflection
Jesus rebuked Peter for focusing on human thinking instead of God’s plan. Likewise, the enemy battles us in our thoughts, tempting us to magnify the natural instead of trusting the spiritual. The more mindful we are of God’s Word, the more victorious we become. As we renew our minds with Scripture and fix our thoughts on Him, we shift from fear to faith, from sight to Spirit.
Application
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for giving me the mind of Christ. Help me be mindful of Your ways and not swayed by the things of men. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
