Letting Go of the Old

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. – Isaiah 43:18
Reflection
It’s easy to revisit the past—its failures, regrets, and even its successes. Yet the word remember means to make active, and God calls us to move forward, not backward. Past victories can inspire but must not define today’s steps. Old mindsets and fears lose their hold when we yield them to Christ. As we release the old, He heals, renews, and leads us into the new thing He is doing.
Application
Release the past, both failures and successes
Welcome God’s new ways with open faith
Trust His grace to guide each step forward
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for healing me from the past. Help me let go of what was and embrace what You are doing today. Renew my heart to walk in faith and hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
