Putting On the New Man

That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. – Ephesians 4:22–24

Reflection
Putting on the new man is like clothing ourselves with Christ. Our old ways belong to who we once were. By faith, we wear His righteousness, forgiveness, and freedom. Satan’s lies lose their grip as we wrap ourselves in truth and grace. We no longer hide in shame; we stand covered in Christ’s glory. Putting on Christ daily affirms our identity and renews our walk with Him.

Reject the shame and guilt of the old ways
Clothe yourself in Christ by faith
Walk in your identity of love and freedom

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for clothing me in Your righteousness. Help me put off my old self and put on the new man in Christ every day. Teach me to live from the identity You’ve given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
