Guarding Your Heart
Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. – Proverbs 4:23
Reflection
Our hearts are the wellspring of life, shaping our words, actions, and relationships. What we allow in determines what flows out. Guarding the heart means protecting peace, filtering influences, and keeping love alive. It requires wisdom and intentionally setting healthy boundaries in love and truth. A heart anchored in God remains pure, fruitful, and steadfast.
Application
Be mindful of what you allow to influence your heart
Forgive quickly to keep your heart free
Let God’s Word shape your thoughts and motives
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for giving me a new heart. Help me guard it carefully and fill it with Your truth and peace. Keep my love pure and my motives right before You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
