What Are We Saying?

Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles. – Proverbs 21:23

Reflection
Words carry the power to wound or to heal. Unchecked speech can harm, but surrendered words become vessels of grace. The enemy tempts us toward gossip or complaint, yet silence often brings greater peace. Guarding our words requires the help of the Holy Spirit, enabling us to speak truth in love. When our tongues align with His heart, our words bring light and life to those around us.

Application
Pray for grace to guard your tongue
Avoid gossip and careless words
Speak the truth in love through the Spirit’s guidance

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for the power of words. Help me guard my tongue and use my speech to build up, not tear down. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
