The God Who Sees
Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees. – Genesis 16:13
Reflection
Hagar’s story reminds us that God sees what others overlook. In lonely or forgotten places, His eyes never leave us. The God who sees also redeems and restores. His gaze isn’t one of judgment but compassion. When we feel unseen, we can rest in His care, confident that His plans are for our good. The more we recognize His eyes upon us, the clearer we see Him.
Application
Remember God fully knows you and loves you deeply
Thank Him for noticing what others may miss
Encourage someone you sense feels overlooked
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for being the God who sees me. Help me rest in Your compassionate gaze and extend that same care to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
