Do Not Fret
Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. – Psalm 37:1–2
Reflection
It’s easy to grow discouraged when the wicked seem to prosper, but God’s Word reminds us to stay calm and trust His justice. The victory of evil is temporary, but His righteousness endures forever. When we fix our eyes on the Lord, He fills our hearts with peace that overcomes worry and envy. God’s plan always prevails in the end.
Application
Shift your focus to God when you fret
Remind yourself that His plan and justice always prevail
Encourage others who may struggle with discouragement
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for being victorious in all things. Help me keep my eyes on You and not the surrounding evil. Replace anxiety with peace and envy with trust. Remind me daily that Your power is greater than any evil I see. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
