Nevertheless

O My Father … nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will. – Matthew 26:39

Reflection
Surrender is the pathway to true victory. In Gethsemane, Jesus yielded His will with one powerful word—“Nevertheless.” That word turned agony into purpose and submission into redemption. Each time we echo it, Heaven moves. Our own “nevertheless” becomes an invitation for God’s strength to enter our weakness, transforming resistance into trust and uncertainty into peace. Surrender doesn’t diminish us; it reveals His power within us.

Application
Surrender your will to God in prayer
Say “nevertheless” when comfort conflicts with obedience
Trust His plan, even when it costs you personally

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for modeling surrender in the Garden. Help me embrace “nevertheless” moments with faith and trust. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
