A Heart After God
The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart. – 1 Samuel 13:14

David’s heart wasn’t perfect, but it was pursuing. God looks for hearts that long to please Him, not ones that perform perfectly. A heart after God is humble, teachable, and willing to repent quickly. When we align our desires with His, we find strength, joy, and renewed intimacy with Him.
