Sleeping in the Storm
I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around. – Psalm 3:5–6
Reflection
Peace in the middle of chaos is the fruit of trust. David slept while surrounded by enemies because he knew God was in control. We can acknowledge the storm without surrendering to it. Faith whispers that we are in God’s loving hands. When we rest in that truth, fear loses its voice and His presence guards our hearts and minds through the night.
Application
End each day by entrusting every concern to God
Believe that He watches over you while you rest
Let His peace silence the storm within your soul
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for guarding me through every storm. Teach me to rest in Your presence and trust You with what I cannot control. I will sleep in peace, knowing You fight for me.In Jesus' name. Amen!
