Watch Out for the Traps

Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes! – Matthew 18:7

Reflection
Offense acts like a snare, luring us into bitterness and division. The enemy sets traps to derail our peace and unity, but Christ calls us higher—to walk in love. Refusing offense doesn’t mean ignoring wrongs; it means addressing them with grace and humility. When we forgive and seek understanding, we escape the trap and keep our hearts free before God.

Application
Ask God to reveal any hidden offenses lingering in your heart
Choose forgiveness over bitterness when offense arises
Seek clarity and communicate with grace to resolve conflicts

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for giving me the power to overcome offense. Guard my heart from bitterness and teach me to respond with love and grace. In Jesus' name. Amen!
