The Kingdom of God Is In Power

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. - 1 Corinthians 4:19-20

The Kingdom of God is the realm in which God fulfills His will. It’s where Christ Jesus rules and reigns, spiritually, and one day will physically when He fully establishes His Kingdom on the earth. As Christ reigns in our lives, we see His Kingdom through our actions, not in word only—but in power. Our increasing transformation into the image of Christ affects those around us.

The values, rules, and ways of the world system are crumbling as the Kingdom of God reveals its own values, principles, and reality. As we fix our gaze on our King, the light of His glory shines, causing others to draw closer to Him and submit to His Lordship. It is often said that actions speak louder than words. In the gospel, that is surely the case.

When we focus solely on worldly matters and rely only on our physical abilities, it becomes a hindrance to advancing the Kingdom of God. Our focus is to worship the King, share the gospel, and rejoice at the manifestation of all He has in store for us, for such a time as this, from glory to glory!
