Be Filled to the Brim
“And He said to them, ‘Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.’ And they took it.’ - John 2-8
As Jesus told the servants to draw water out of the pots, they had filled to the brim, the needed wine came forth. When it’s time to do what God leads us to do, regardless of how small or great it appears to be, we can trust that all we need will manifest. We draw out what the Lord has ...by faith. When the Lord leads us to do something in His name, we can trust in His ability.
When we fill up a drink to the brim and place the cup in our car, the liquid spills over when we drive over a bump. In our lives, we are to fill ourselves to the brim with the things of God so that when we drive over a bump, it’s His ways that spill over. The bumps others bring into our lives cause what the Lord has placed in us to be drawn out.
Out of our hearts flow rivers of living water. We never run out when we draw out to water others. It glorifies the Lord. There is always enough in the cup, and the overflow increases. Our cup runs over and the more we give, the more we receive, from glory to glory!
