All Things Work Together for Our Good?
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. - Rom. 8:28
Whatever we think God is doing in our lives, we quickly find out He is doing much more. It's as though we walk on a dot-to-dot pathway. With every step, a dot connects to another, and the picture becomes clearer. Not only do we move from dot to dot, but we also are like dots that God connects to fulfill His purpose.
We can't guess what the full picture will be, because each dot reveals something new and crucial. While we may not understand how each part connects, we can trust that God works all things together for our good. We are His workmanship, and He cares for us deeply. Even though we don't know what tomorrow holds, we know He holds our tomorrow, and we can rest in Him.
We enjoy the journey from dot to dot, knowing that each new destination is a new season, not the end. Even when it seems like nothing is moving, something is; we just may not see it. Constantly trusting that there is more to attain keeps us hopeful and prevents discouragement. Moving from dot to dot means there is always more to come, from glory to glory!
