God Gets It
For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. - Ps. 103:14
Almighty God loves and understands our past, present, and future ways. Whatever happened in our past that influences our behavior today is clear to Him. God gets it. As He transforms us, He heals the areas causing our wrong behaviors while preserving the traits that make us unique. With full knowledge of who we are, the Lord rejoices over us. He comprehends the who, the why, the when, and the how of all we are.
When others misunderstand us, we might feel rejected. But when we remember that God gets it, we can rest in Him, knowing He loves and accepts us. As we delight ourselves in the Lord, He gives us new desires and strengthens those He has already placed in our hearts. These desires lead us to yield to the Spirit of God for transformation and growth.
As we grow spiritually and our focus shifts from the natural realm, those around us might not understand. What happened? The Lord got us. He understands because He holds us. Everything that pertains to us… He has it! Hallelujah! Now we get it, from glory to glory!
