Our Unlimited Potential in Christ

But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love him.’ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. - 1 Cor. 2:9-10.
As children of God, our primary focus should be to reach our spiritual potential. This potential is possible but not yet actual. It represents what we are capable of but have not yet accomplished—a power within us, waiting to be manifested.
Our unlimited potential in Christ lies in our transformation into the likeness of Jesus, a process made possible only through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. Christ in us is the hope of glory. As we yield to God's presence in us, who we are in Him becomes more apparent. Each step of transformation reveals what was once "not yet" and fuels our faith for what is still to come.
The "not yet" gives us hope for tomorrow and helps us move beyond yesterday. We learn contentment in every season, knowing today was once a "not yet" and that the best is yet to come. Even when we don't see it, Christ in us is being formed, from glory to glory!
