Founded on the Rock

He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. - Luke 6:48.

When storms hit, our firm foundation in Christ enables us to press through, remain steadfast, and walk victoriously. Without a strong spiritual foundation, life's trials can leave us questioning God, gripped by fear, or struggling to hope for the future. We build a solid foundation by growing as disciples, walking by faith and not by sight, and being led by the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit helps us dig deep, healing the debris of our past and solidifying shaky ground. As we yield to Him, He leads us deeper into the Word, earnest prayer, and wholehearted worship. This abiding place gives us strength for the battles against the enemy, our flesh, and the world.

Let’s not doubt our sure foundation but continually strengthen its reality in our hearts. God understands our struggles and the depths from which He has lifted us. When trials arise, they don’t shake our house—they help make it stronger and unshakable. In Christ, our foundation stands secure,  from glory to glory!
