Transformed by His Presence

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. - Acts 4:13.

Spending time with Jesus has a profound effect on us, shaping us to become more like Him. This principle applies in other relationships as well; we often unconsciously adopt the habits and mannerisms of those we spend time with. Therefore, we must guard against anything that conflicts with our Christ-like character. The more time we spend with the Lord, the more empowered we are to break free from negative influences.

God is present in our everyday activities, and we should consciously welcome Him in all we do. Our fellowship with Him can be a constant, moment-by-moment interaction, not limited to specific meetings or events. Along with this ongoing communion, we also set aside special times to be fully in His presence. It’s in these intimate moments that His glory most powerfully transforms us.

Our fruitfulness comes from receiving His knowledge and wisdom. The more we immerse ourselves in Christ, the stronger our steps become, and the more we’re able to withstand opposition. The boldness and confidence we gain through our time with Him become visible and tangible. Let’s keep hanging out with Jesus, rejoicing as He manifests His character in and through us,  from glory to glory!
