Shaking Off Resentment

"Be ye angry and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath." - Ephesians 4:26 NKJV

Reflection
Resentment can often be sneaky, creeping into our hearts unnoticed. It builds up through unexpressed grievances and, if left unchecked, leads to bitterness. The Bible teaches us the importance of resolving anger quickly to prevent it from taking root in our lives. Not just what we know of, but also any hidden seed of resentment.

Application
Make it a daily practice to examine your heart for any lingering anger or resentment. Recognize offense as a bait the enemy wants you to take and shake it off as soon as possible. Address conflicts as they arise, seeking resolution before the day ends.

Connection
Lord, thank You for Your wisdom and guidance in my life. Help me to quickly yield to the Holy Spirit’s healing for any anger or resentment that tries to take root in my heart. Give me the courage to address conflicts quickly and walk in Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
