Don't Give Up
"And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." – Galatians 6:9 NKJV
Reflection
This scripture acknowledges that we may grow weary. Weary here means weak, about to faint, to give up. It reminds us that believing in the due season strengthens our faith and empowers us to press on. When we do become weary, the Holy Spirit is faithful to quicken and strengthen us, releasing a second wind to keep us going.
Application
Do not lose heart. Keep going! Maintain your enthusiasm for doing good, even when you don't see immediate results. Trust in God’s sowing and reaping process. Rejoice in advance, knowing that your efforts will bear fruit in due season. Look back at the progress you’ve made to stay encouraged.
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for encouraging me on my journey. Help me persevere in well-doing, remembering Your promise of reaping in due season. When that due season seems too far away, I will keep my eyes on You, my Redeemer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
