Knowing He Hears Us

"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." – 1 John 5:14 NKJV

Reflection
Confidence in prayer comes from knowing that God hears us. His hearing is not passive but intentional. He pays attention and listens to our heart’s cries, even when they are silent. When we pray according to His will, we can rest in the assurance that He hears us and is already at work. What joy, peace, and strength come from faith in Him.

Application
Approach God with child-like faith, knowing He not only hears you but responds. Trust Him beyond your understanding. Have more confidence in Him than in yourself. Take time to listen for His voice and notice how He moves in your situation. Hear His gentle whisper: "Rest in Me, my child. I heard you. I am taking care of it."

Thank You, Lord, for the privilege to come boldly to Your throne of grace. Help me pray according to your will and stand by faith when the answer doesn’t meet my expectations. I pray for the confidence in Your Will, Your Way, according to Your Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
