Rooted in Love: Standing Firm in Christ

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJV

Reflection
God’s love is immeasurable, surpassing our understanding. The more we know His love, the more we realize there is always more to discover. His love is not based on our worth—it gives us worth. Rooted and grounded in this love, we stand immovable when confronting trials and tribulations. Faith in His love strengthens our faith in His presence and power.

Application
Instead of looking at yourself, fix your eyes upon the Lord. Reflect on all He is and His marvelous work. Let your works of obedience be in result of your love for Him. As you grow in your knowledge of His love, be filled with His fullness, experiencing more of Him each day. Trust that God’s unchanging love never fails.

Connection
Lord, thank You for Your immeasurable love. Help me be rooted and grounded in it, never questioning its reality or depth. Help me focus on your plenty instead of my lack. Let Your love fill me and shape my identity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
