Reflecting Christ's Love

We love because he first loved us. - 1 John 4:19

Reflection
God’s love is not based on ours. We love God in response to His love, not to earn it. It is freely given. It’s with this boundless love that we love others. Some may struggle with loving those who are different from them, but God's love calls us to extend grace others, even when it’s difficult. Loving others isn’t about how they respond, it’s about reflecting Christ.

Application
Be intentional in showing love today—not just in words, but in action. A simple gesture, a kind word, or choosing patience over criticism can make a difference. Extend love to those close to you—whom you may take for granted—and to those who feel distant. Love even when it’s not returned, knowing that you are reflecting God’s love.

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for loving me first. Teach me to love others as You have loved me. Help me embrace it and share it in my actions. Let each act of love reinforce the truth of Your perfect love for us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
