Filled and Empowered

And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. – Acts 4:31

Reflection
The early disciples were no strangers to the Holy Spirit; they had witnessed His arrival with mighty power at Pentecost. Yet, in this moment of prayer, they experienced a fresh outpouring of His presence. The tangible evidence of the Holy Spirit's movement was profound: the very ground shook beneath them, and they spoke with renewed boldness.

Application
Just as they did, we too can welcome the Holy Spirit to move in greater ways in our lives
Set aside time for deep, intentional prayer, either alone or with others. Ask God to fill you afresh with His Holy Spirit and to grant you boldness in your faith. Surrender to however He moves, letting go of preconceived ideas of what His work should look like.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I surrender my will to You. Move as You desire in my life. Fill me, free me, and transform me so that I may bring glory to Your name. May Your power be evident in all I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
