Finding Rest in Jesus

Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. -  Matthew 11:28

Reflection
In a world filled with chaos and challenges, Jesus invites us to come to Him when the burdens of life weigh us down. In our weariness, He promises rest and a deep abiding peace. So often, we become so consumed by our struggles that we forget to seek Him first. Instead of waiting until we are overwhelmed, let’s seek Him as our immediate response to life’s pressures.

Application
When you feel weary, take a moment to pause and redirect your focus to Him. Lay your concerns at His feet and allow Him to renew your strength. Jesus understands your struggles intimately. He is always ready to lift your burdens. Trust in His promise of rest and embrace it by faith. Move forward, resting in Him, confident that He is carrying you — always and in every circumstance.

Thank You, Lord, for your invitation to find rest in You. Help me to turn to You in every situation, trusting that You will carry both me and my burdens. I embrace Your peace and thank You for the comfort of Your presence. In Jesus' name, Amen.
