Delivered from Darkness

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. – Colossians 1:13–14 NKJV

Reflection:
The temptation to focus on the darkness causes us to walk by sight, not faith. Fear grows when we dwell on evil, analyze it, or magnify it. But through Christ, we’ve been rescued from its power and transferred into the Kingdom of light. Evil may appear overwhelming, but it holds no true authority in our lives.

Application:
You are not under the dominion of darkness but under the reign of King Jesus. When fear or spiritual pressure rises, declare your position in Christ. Walk in the light. Trust that the authority of Christ triumphs over all evil, and shine His glory in every place He sends you.

Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for rescuing me from darkness and bringing me into Your Kingdom. Help me walk boldly in the light of Christ and remember that evil holds no power over me. Strengthen me to shine Your glory in every circumstance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
