A Future and a Hope
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the LORD, “thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
Reflection:
God’s thoughts toward us are filled with peace, not evil. Yet when fear, despair, and difficulty arise, we may question His plans. Trusting God means surrendering what we think we know and leaning on what His Word says—even when it doesn’t feel like peace.
Application:
Meditate on God’s promises. When fear creeps in about the future, speak His truth out loud. Reject the enemy’s lies and rest in the truth that your Heavenly Father is still at work. He holds the full picture—and it ends in hope.
? Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for having a plan full of peace and hope for my life. I trust You to lead me into the future You’ve prepared. Help me rest in Your care today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
