Stretch Out Your Hand to Heal

"Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." - Acts 4:29-30 NKJV

Reflection:
Jesus stretched out His hands on the cross to save us—and He still stretches them out today to heal, deliver, and rescue. Just like a parent who grabs a child out of oncoming danger, the Lord reaches for us with urgency and love. Our security is not in our ability to hold on, but in His ability to keep us.

Application:
When you’re in need—physically, spiritually, or emotionally—reach out for His hand. Ask Him to stretch forth His hand to heal, deliver, and restore. When fear rises, we remember: you are in His grasp. No one and nothing can snatch us out of His hand.

Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for the power of Your saving, healing, hand. I trust You to heal, rescue, restore, and protect me. May I live in the peace of Your presence, secure in Your hand. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
