Only One Word
And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.” – Matthew 8:7–8 NKJV
Reflection:
The centurion’s faith astonished Jesus. He believed that one word from the Lord was enough to bring healing. His confidence wasn’t in what he could see but in who Jesus is. That same faith invites us to trust without needing evidence—believing the Word is enough.
Application:
Let your faith rise today. Believe before you see. Know that His presence is with you and His Word is working on your behalf. You don’t need to feel something to believe—God’s Word stands true no matter what you see.
Connection (Prayer):
Thank You, Lord, for speaking Your Word over my life. Strengthen my faith to trust You fully, even when I do not see immediate results. You are more than enough. Always.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
