What Are We Thinking?

“…bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 10:5 NKJV

Reflection:
Not every thought is trustworthy—especially when filtered through past wounds. The enemy uses assumptions and misperceptions to stir strife and fear. But the Holy Spirit empowers us to pause, ask for clarity, and pursue truth. When we submit our thinking to God, He replaces confusion with clarity, and heaviness with peace.

Application:
Pause before you respond. Ask questions instead of assuming. And bring every thought—yours or theirs—before the Lord for truth and peace.

Connection (Prayer):
Thank You, Lord. Help me recognize and surrender every thought that doesn’t align with Your truth. Heal my perception and reveal Your thoughts and ways as I follow Your peace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
