My Heart is Overwhelmed
“When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” – Psalm 61:2 NKJV
Reflection:
When sorrow and fear weigh us down, Jesus lifts us higher. In times of grief, trauma, or tragedy, He leads us to Himself—our sure and steady Rock. As we cry out, He answers. He meets us with hope, heals our perspective, and fills our hearts with peace beyond understanding. Even in our darkest hours, He is near and faithful to carry us through.
Application:
Don’t carry the weight alone. When your heart feels overwhelmed, press into the presence of Jesus. Cry out to Him and allow Him to lift you to a higher place of peace. Even when words fail, your tears reach Him. Rest in His love and let Him lead you forward.
Connection (Prayer):
Thank You, Lord, for keeping me strong in You. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to You. Lift me out of fear, grief, and confusion into the safety of Your presence. I trust You are near, and You are enough for every burden I carry.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
