Walk in Wisdom: Acknowledge

? James 3:14-15, 17
"But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic... But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy."

Reflection
Recognizing the difference between earthly and divine wisdom is vital for our spiritual walk. Earthly wisdom, rooted in pride and self-interest, often leads us astray. But the wisdom that comes from above bears the fruit of the Spirit and reflects the character of Christ. As we are transformed from glory to glory, we learn to discern truth through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and to humbly acknowledge our need for God’s wisdom in every area of life.

Application
➤ Take time today to evaluate areas where self-centered reasoning may be replacing God-centered wisdom.
➤ Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything not aligned with His truth.
➤ Receive His peaceable, gentle wisdom and walk in humility.

Connection (Prayer)
Thank You, Lord, for the wisdom that comes from above. Help me discern truth in every situation. Fill me with Your Spirit and lead me to walk in humility, mercy, and peace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
