Constant Comfort
2 Corinthians 1:3
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort."
Reflection
When life overwhelms us, we naturally reach for things that bring temporary comfort—food, rest, warm blankets, or familiar routines. But only God offers a comfort that goes deeper than emotion. His comfort strengthens, heals, and carries us. The Holy Spirit, our Comforter, calms our fears, dries our tears, and empowers us to stand in faith through every trial.
Application
➤ Rest in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
➤ Let God’s comfort replace your heaviness.
➤ Allow His comfort to flow through you to others.
Connection (Prayer)
Thank You, Lord, for being the God of all comfort. When I am weary or overwhelmed, I run to You. Fill me with Your peace and help me comfort others with the same comfort I have received, from glory to glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
