Grace Over Rejection

But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.” – Luke 9:55 NKJV

Reflection
When rejection strikes, it can awaken emotional reactions and cloud spiritual clarity. The disciples reacted in the flesh, seeking judgment instead of mercy, but Jesus offered correction. He reminded them of His mission to save, not to destroy, calling them to higher discernment. In Him, we find the grace and strength to respond in love, not retaliation.

Application
➤ Resist reacting in the flesh when hurt—pause and pray before responding.
➤ Ask the Holy Spirit to lead your heart with love and discernment.
➤ Follow Jesus’ example and walk in your divine purpose, undeterred by rejection.

Connection
Thank You, Lord, for loving me through every rejection and for helping me to respond in the Spirit. Fill me with Your grace, compassion, and strength to stay focused on Your calling. May my heart reflect Yours, full of mercy and truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
