Overcoming Temptation: God’s Way of Escape

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV

Reflection:
Temptation often comes when we least expect it and can seem overwhelming. The enemy employs enticement, exploiting our longing for what we perceive as indispensable, mirroring his tactics with Eve. God never allows us to face temptation without providing a way of escape. His presence, His Power, and His wisdom are always available to help us resist when we yield to Him.

 Application:
➡️ When temptation strikes, pause and pray before you proceed.
➡️ Keep your eyes on Jesus, not the bait.
➡️ Run to God, not away from Him, and trust His your way of escape.

Thank You, Lord, for enabling me to overcome temptation. I surrender and yield to you, the way, the truth and the life. Help me walk in Your Word daily, in Jesus' name, Amen.
