Discern and Pray: Hearing God’s Gentle Promptings
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment. – Philippians 1:9 NKJV
Reflection
There are moments when the atmosphere shifts, and we sense a spiritual disturbance.
The Holy Spirit uses that unsettling nudge to call us into deeper prayer.
Obedience often looks like private intercession rather than public displays.
As we trust His leading, discernment becomes a tool to uplift and safeguard others.
Application
→ Pause and ask, “Holy Spirit, what are You showing me?” and journal what you sense.
→ Intercede against any hindrance you feel, rebuking it in Jesus’ name.
→ Invite a trusted partner when the Spirit prompts you to pray corporately.
Connection
Thank You Lord, for sharpening my spiritual senses, helping me discern and pray according to Your will. Guide me to walk in Your Word of truth. In Jesus’ name.
