Overcoming Offense
"Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” – Matthew 18:7 NKJV
Reflection
Offense acts like a snare, luring us into bitterness and division. The enemy sets traps to derail our relationships and peace, but Christ calls us to rise above and walk in love. Refusing offense doesn’t mean ignoring wrongs; it means addressing them with grace and seeking clarity. Through humility and forgiveness, we escape the trap and keep our hearts free in Him.
Application
➤ Ask God to reveal any hidden offenses lingering in your heart.
➤ Choose forgiveness over bitterness when offense arises.
➤ Seek clarity and communicate with grace to resolve conflicts.
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for giving me the power to overcome offense. Guard my heart from bitterness and teach me to respond with love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
