Filled to the Brim

“Now there were set there six waterpots of stone… Jesus said to them, ‘Fill the waterpots with water.’ And they filled them up to the brim.” – John 2:6-7 NKJV

Reflection:
The servants filled the jars to the brim, not halfway, demonstrating complete obedience. God calls us to serve Him with excellence, not partial effort. Even when the task is long or unseen, we trust His greater purpose. Jesus gave His all, so we joyfully give Him ours.

Application:
Commit to wholehearted obedience, not halfway service.
Persevere in faithfulness even when results are unseen.
Serve with excellence, as unto the Lord.

Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for bringing me into what is truly best for me. May Your Spirit of excellence fill me, enabling me to obey You completely. Fill me to the brim with Your Spirit as I live for Your glory. In Jesus’name, Amen.
