The Test of Obedience

“And He said, ‘Do not lay your hand on the lad… for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.’” – Genesis 22:12 NKJV

Reflection:
Abraham’s willingness to offer Isaac revealed his surrender. God’s tests may seem extreme but are meant to reveal our faith. Sometimes His direction shifts suddenly, requiring flexibility in obedience. True faith is eager to follow His will, even when costly or unexpected.

Application:
➤ Pray for strength to obey even in hard tests.
➤ Trust God’s heart when His commands seem unclear.
➤ Be willing to change direction when He leads differently.

Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for helping me obey fully, even when it costs me. I surrender myself to You. trust Your perfect plan for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
