How Do We Deal with Anxiety?

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6–7 NKJV

Reflection:
Anxiety returns when we hand our worries to God and then take them back again. Peace grows as we learn to release and re-release each care into His capable hands. God’s love and power are greater than our need to control. Through prayer and thanksgiving, His peace settles our hearts and keeps our minds secure in Christ.

Application:
Release every worry to God in prayer.
Thank Him continually for His care and provision.
Trust His peace to guard your heart and mind.

Connection:
Thank You, Lord, for Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding. Teach me to release every anxiety and rest in Your faithful love. Guard my heart and mind as I trust You fully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
