Pressing On in Faith
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. – Philippians 3:12
Reflection
The Christian life is not about instant perfection but continual progress. God shapes our hearts through both triumphs and trials, teaching us to rely on His strength more than our own. Pressing on means trusting Him in the unseen process and believing He’s working, even when results are pending. Each step forward, no matter how small, is evidence of His grace at work within us.
Application
Celebrate small victories as signs of His ongoing work
Surrender impatience and rest in His perfect timing
Remain faithful when progress feels slow or hidden
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for Your patient grace shaping my journey. Help me persevere when progress seems slow, and help me to keep pressing toward the purpose You’ve prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
