Come to Me
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28
Reflection
Jesus’ invitation, “Come to Me,” is deeply personal. He doesn’t just offer rest from something; He offers rest in Himself. True peace begins when we draw near Him, not only when our circumstances change. His rest flows out of relationship, not relief. When we come first into His presence, we find strength for the day and comfort that quiets the soul.
Application
Spend time simply being with Jesus, not asking for anything
Let His presence quiet your heart before you begin your day
Receive His rest as a gift of relationship, not a reward for effort
Connection
Thank You, Lord, for inviting me to draw closer. Teach me to rest in Your presence and find peace through my relationship with You. May my heart always respond to Your gentle call. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
